An infinite crowd of mathematicians enters a bar.
The first one orders a pint, the second one a half pint, the third one a quarter pint...
"I understand", says the bartender - and pours two pints.
Teacher: What is 2k + k?

A: Pumpkin Pi!
Q: Why do you rarely find mathematicians spending time at the beach?

Teacher: "Who can tell me what 7 times 6 is?"
Student: "It's 42!"
Teacher: "Very good! - And who can tell me what 6 times 7 is?"

An ounce of prevention…
If your child is struggling with fractions in 5th grade, don’t wait until 9th grade to get them help. Sometimes just a few one-on-one sessions with a skilled math tutor on a specific topic can save you years of frustration, fights, tears, poor grades and the ever-looming “I can’t do math” attitude.
I use the golden rule of setting goals: make them realistic, make them specific, and make them measurable. With me as your math tutor you WILL see results…and have fun!
If you have questions…
Don’t hesitate to pick up the phone and call me. I would be more than happy to answer any questions you have.
