Before continuing, please read and agree to the following policies.

Monthly Commitment

Tutoring is a month-to-month verbal agreement (no long-term contract). If you wish to discontinue tutoring, simply notify me by text or email at least one week before your first scheduled session of the following month.

Billing & Payments

Invoices are emailed on the 24th of each month. Payment for all pre-determined tutoring sessions is due in advance and is automatically processed shortly after midnight on the 1st (or on your invoice due date, whichever comes first), giving you about a week to review your invoice before payment is made. Any appointment canceled after 8:00 PM on the last day of the month will incur a $1.50 processing fee per canceled appointment to cover Stripe's nonrefundable processing fees, even if the cancellation otherwise satisfies our 48-hour cancellation policy.

Cancellation Policy

We require 48 hours' notice for all cancellations or reschedules, including illness or emergencies. If you cancel within 48 hours, your tutor can provide a personalized video lesson if materials are submitted before the scheduled session, so your student doesn't lose the benefit of the session.

Communication

All payments are processed through Bay Area Tutors (not directly through your tutor). Requests for cancellations or reschedules must come directly from the Parent or Guardian (not the student, if applicable) by including both the tutor and Daron Cam in a group text (preferred) or email. Please refrain from contacting tutors outside scheduled sessions for homework help or other academic questions.
